How we handle your information
This policy explains what information nourishfix.com collects when you visit, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.

Who we are
NourishFix is run by an individual, its founder. For anything about your information, email hello@nourishfix.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the website at nourishfix.com: our guides, the Flavor Builder, the PMOS symptoms quiz and the PMOS food tracker. The NourishFix meal planner has its own privacy notice, which explains how the app keeps your health answers on your device.
What we collect, and why
- Visit details. Like every website, our host’s servers record technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser, the page you asked for and the time. We use these to keep the site running and secure.
- Visitor statistics. Jetpack Stats (run by Automattic) and Google Analytics tell us which pages people read, so we know which guides help most. We see totals, not who you are.
- Advertising. The site uses Google AdSense, which can show ads and measure how they perform. Google may use cookies for this, including to show ads based on your interests where you allow it.
- Email sign-ups. If you sign up for something we send by email, such as a free guide, we collect your email address (and your first name if you give it) through Kit, our email service. We use it only to send what you asked for, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
- Searches. Words you type into the site search are used to show results. They may appear in our host’s server records.
Our free tools keep your answers on your device
The PMOS food tracker saves your entries in your own browser, on your device. They aren’t sent to us. The PMOS symptoms quiz and the Flavor Builder work in your browser too: we don’t receive your answers or your choices. Clearing your browser’s data for our site removes anything the tracker saved.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Google Analytics and Google AdSense use cookies. Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked first: until you agree, these services run without cookies and in a limited way. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.
In some US states, using information to show ads based on your interests can count as “sharing” or “selling” it. You can opt out from the same privacy settings, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser where it is supported.
Who else handles your information
We use these services to run the site. Each handles information for us under its own privacy terms:
- Hostinger: hosts the website and its server records.
- Automattic (Jetpack): visitor statistics and site security.
- Google: Analytics and AdSense.
- Kit: email sign-ups and the emails we send.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Where your information is processed
Some of these services process information in the United States and other countries. Where UK or EU law applies, these transfers rely on recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Server records: for the limited period our host keeps them.
- Google Analytics: no longer than 14 months.
- Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your details.
- Emails you send us: as long as we need to reply and follow up, then we delete them.
Our legal reasons
We use cookies for statistics and advertising only with your consent. We keep server records and basic visit counts because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure, useful website. We send emails because you asked us to, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@nourishfix.com and we’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to your data protection regulator, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, your national authority in the EU, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children
This site is meant for adults. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
