The NourishFix meal planner
Terms of use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the individual who runs NourishFix (“we”, “us”) for using the NourishFix planner at app.nourishfix.com. By using the planner you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
1. What NourishFix is
NourishFix plans everyday meals around your health goals, your household and your week. It’s for healthy eating, including for people living with diabetes, high blood pressure or PMOS (formerly PCOS), or using GLP-1 medicines. It gives general guidance, not medical advice. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, adjust medication or replace advice from your care team. The medical disclaimer is part of these terms; please read it.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to use NourishFix. If you plan meals for other people, such as family members or children you care for, you are responsible for checking that the plan suits them.
3. Your information and your device
The planner saves your answers and plans in your browser on your device, as the privacy notice explains. You are responsible for that device and for any copies you save. If your browser clears its data or your device is lost, we can’t restore your plans unless you kept a copy with Save a copy.
4. Using it fairly
You agree not to:
- use the planner or its server to harm, overload or break it, or to get around its limits;
- use shared shopping lists or feedback to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content;
- copy, resell or reuse the planner’s recipes, food data or design in your own product without our written permission. The public food tables named in section 7 stay under their own licences, and you can use them on those terms.
5. Shared shopping lists and household plans
Anyone who has a shared list’s link can open it, and change it if the link allows. Anyone who has a shared household plan’s link can see the plan, with each person’s name as you entered it, and tick meals and rate them; only you can change the meals. Only send links to people you trust, and only share names of people who are happy for you to. You can make new links or stop sharing at any time; stopping deletes the shared copy. Shared lists and plans are deleted 60 days after their last change.
6. Recipes you import
When you import a recipe from a website or paste one in, it stays on your device for your own use: it’s never stored on our server or shared with other people, including when you share a plan or a shopping list. You are responsible for having the right to use it. Nutrition for imported recipes is estimated from ingredient names and may be wrong, so check labels.
7. Accuracy
Nutrient values are estimates from standard food tables: USDA FoodData Central and, for some made foods in the UK and Australia, the UK’s Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset (CoFID) and the Australian Food Composition Database from Food Standards Australia New Zealand (see Sources). Brands, portions and cooking change the real values. Allergen checks cover only the ingredients in each recipe, so always read food labels. Prices are estimates and vary by shop and region.
8. Our content
The planner, its meal plans, recipes, text and design belong to us or the people we license them from. The planner’s recipes are our own; well-known dishes (a chili, an omelette) are written with our own amounts, method and words.
9. Feedback
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve NourishFix without owing you anything for them. We handle your message as the privacy notice describes.
10. Price, trial and subscriptions
During the beta (1 November to 31 December 2026), all of NourishFix is free. Paid plans start on 1 January 2027, the planner shows that date, and nothing is ever charged unless you choose to subscribe.
From 1 January 2027, “Find me a no-cook meal now” stays free. Ready-made week, Build your own plan and the Household Meal Adapter need a subscription: $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year. Prices are set in US dollars; the checkout shows the amount in your currency and adds any sales tax or VAT that applies.
- Free trial. The first time you open one of those planners after paid plans start, you get a 14-day free trial on that device. No payment details are needed for the trial.
- After the trial. If you don’t subscribe, your plans stay on your device: you can still open, read, print and save them, but you can’t make new plans or change them until you subscribe.
- Who sells it. Subscriptions are sold by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which takes the payment, handles tax and sends your receipts. Its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Licence key. After you subscribe, Lemon Squeezy emails you a licence key. Enter it in the planner to unlock it on up to 3 of your devices. The key is for you and your household; please don’t share it publicly. You can free a device’s place with Remove from this device.
- Renewal and cancelling. A subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with the link in your Lemon Squeezy emails. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and it doesn’t renew after that.
- Refunds. If you change your mind, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we’ll refund that payment in full. After that, payments aren’t refunded for the rest of a period, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
- Founding members. People who use NourishFix during the beta, and people who subscribe in the first 30 days after paid plans start, get 30% off for as long as they stay subscribed. The discount is added at checkout.
- Price changes. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you want to.
11. Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop parts of the planner, including shared lists, food lookups and recipe import. We’ll try to give notice of big changes in the planner. The planner is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
12. Liability
We take care to make NourishFix accurate and useful, but we can’t promise it suits your particular needs. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for loss or harm that comes from relying on the planner’s general guidance instead of advice from your care team, from information you entered, or from events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to exclude or limit. If you use NourishFix as a consumer, you also have legal rights in the country where you live, and these terms don’t affect them.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so in the planner before it takes effect. Using the planner after that means you accept the new terms.
