The NourishFix meal planner
Help
NourishFix is free during its beta, until 31 December 2026. Can’t find your answer? Contact us.
Getting started
Open app.nourishfix.com. There’s no account to make. Choose one of four planners:
- Ready-made week: pick a themed week, answer two short screens, and get a plan.
- Build your own plan: a plan for you, set up step by step with your goals and settings.
- Household Meal Adapter: one meal for the whole table, showing where each person’s plate differs.
- Find me a no-cook meal now: a few questions, then a meal you can make without cooking in about four minutes.
On the start screen, choose who you’re planning for (Just me or My household) and how much you want to decide, or tap Need dinner tonight? Each planner keeps its own plan, and your allergies, ratings, meal notes and kitchen are shared between them. Use All planners at the top of a plan to go back and open another.
For a step-by-step walk-through of each planner, see the how-to guides. In a plan, More → How to use this planner opens the right one.
Install it on your phone
We recommend installing NourishFix. It then opens like an app, works without signal, and keeps your plans safer: some browsers, Safari in particular, can clear a website’s saved data after about a week without a visit.
- iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap Share (the square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen.
- Android (Chrome): tap Install NourishFix on this device on the start screen, or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Computer: in Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right of the address bar. On a Mac in Safari, choose File, then Add to Dock.
Your plans and answers
Where are they kept? Only in the browser on your device. Nobody else can see them, including us. The privacy notice has the details.
How do I keep a backup? On the start screen, tap Your data, then Save a copy. It saves one file with all your planners, ratings, kitchen and household answers. Keep it somewhere safe, as it holds your health details.
How do I move to a new phone or another browser? Save a copy on the old one, then open NourishFix on the new one and tap Your data, then Restore from a copy. Restoring replaces what’s saved on that device, and you can undo the last restore.
My plans have disappeared. Your browser has probably cleared its saved data. If you have a copy, restore it. We can’t recover plans for you, because we never had them. Installing NourishFix (above) makes this much less likely.
How do I start a plan again? In that planner, open More and choose Clear and start over. It only affects that planner’s plan; your allergies, ratings and kitchen stay.
Changing your plan
- Swap a meal for another that fits, or keep it and change a part: trade one ingredient, add something, or make it smaller. Move to… puts it on another day. Details shows the ingredients, steps and nutrition.
- Not up to cooking? on a lunch or dinner offers something quicker, leftovers, a meal made from what you have (type in what’s in your cupboard and fridge), or eating out. If you eat out after shopping, you can keep that meal’s food for later or cook it another day. You can undo right after.
- Need a meal now? finds a no-cook meal from what’s in your cupboard.
- Edit preferences changes your goals, allergies, diet, budget and plan length (7, 14 or 30 days).
- Plan next week makes your next plan when this one ends, avoiding repeats except the meals you rated well.
- In a household plan, Who eats what shows each person’s plate.
Shopping list
Tap Shopping list for everything the plan needs, combined and sorted by shop section. You can tick items, add your own, and print or save it as a PDF.
Sharing it: Share this list with your household makes a private link. Anyone with the link can see the list, and tick or change it if the link allows, so only send it to people you trust. Stop sharing deletes the shared copy. A shared list is deleted 60 days after its last change.
Sharing a household plan: in the Household Meal Adapter, More → Share this plan with your household makes a private link to the plan. Each person can open it on their own phone, with no app or account: the meals, what goes on their plate, the steps and amounts. They can tick meals as done and rate them, and you see it in your plan. Only you change the meals; their phones update when you do. The shared plan shows what to serve, never why: no health focus, conditions or answers. Choose the name your household sees for you, since on your phone you’re “You”.
Allergies and safety
Meals with an ingredient from an allergy group you choose are left out, for you and anyone you add. The app only knows the ingredients in its recipes, not “may contain” warnings or differences between brands, so always read labels. Your allergies are the same in all your planners: add one in any of them and your other plans replace the meals that contain it, and say which.
The safety questions (kidney disease, insulin or other medicine that lowers blood sugar, pregnancy, and eating-disorder history) add warnings and adjust what the plan shows. NourishFix gives general guidance, not medical advice; please read the medical disclaimer, which also lists where to get help.
Text size, units and offline use
Text size: use A or A+ at the top of the screen, or your browser’s zoom. More on using the planner with a screen reader, keyboard or larger text: Accessibility.
Units: amounts show in cups and ounces in the US, and in grams and millilitres elsewhere. Switch with Units on a meal’s ingredients, at the top of the shopping list, or under Your data on the start screen. Nutrients such as protein and carbs stay in grams, as on food labels.
Without signal: once installed, your plan, shopping list and cooking steps open offline. Sharing a list, looking up a food and importing a recipe need a connection.
Recipes you import (under More → Import a recipe), from a link, a copied recipe page, or a social media caption or video description, stay on your device. Instagram, TikTok and Facebook don’t let apps read their posts, so copy the caption instead. They’re never stored on our server or shared with anyone; in a plan you share with your household, an imported meal shows only as one of your own recipes.
Price and subscription
What does it cost? Everything is free during the beta, from 1 November to 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, Find me a no-cook meal now stays free. The other three planners are $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, after a 14-day free trial. Beta testers, and anyone who subscribes in the first 30 days, get 30% off for as long as they stay subscribed.
What happens when the trial ends? Your plans stay on your device. You can still open, read, print and save them, and use your shopping list, but making or changing a plan needs a subscription.
How do I subscribe? Tap Subscribe on the start screen or above your plan, and choose yearly or monthly. Our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, takes the payment and emails you a licence key. Enter the key under Already subscribed? and tap Unlock.
Can I use it on more than one device? Yes, on up to 3. Enter the same key on each. To move it to a new device, tap Remove from this device on the old one first. If you no longer have the old device, contact us and we’ll free its place.
How do I cancel, or change monthly to yearly? Use the link in your Lemon Squeezy emails to manage your subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, contact us for a full refund.
“This key is already in use on 3 devices.” Remove it from a device you don’t use any more, or contact us.
Something isn't working
- Reload the page, or close NourishFix and open it again. Updates arrive the next time you open it.
- If you see “Something went wrong”, tap Reload. Your saved plans are kept. Send a report tells us what happened, without your answers or plans.
- If a copy won’t restore because it was made by a newer version, reload NourishFix to update it and try again.
Privacy
During the beta, NourishFix sends anonymous usage counts and error reports so we can see whether it’s working. They never include your health answers or plans. You can turn them off on the start screen: tap Your data. Read the privacy notice for everything that leaves your device.
Contact us
Tap Feedback at the top of any screen in the app, or email hello@nourishfix.com. We read every message. Please leave out health details you don’t want us to keep.
