ABOUT NOURISHFIX
We teach the why. You own the how.
NourishFix is a nutrition education platform delivering targeted, evidence-based fixes for specific metabolic health problems. Not ongoing telehealth. Not generic advice. One problem, one plan, backed by peer-reviewed research.
Our story
Built on a gap in the market
Most nutrition platforms offer one of two things: expensive ongoing access to a clinical dietitian, or generic advice buried in long-form content with no clear action at the end. There is very little in between.
NourishFix was built for the gap. For the person who doesn’t need a weekly RD appointment — they need to know exactly what to eat in the 48 hours before a blood test, or how to actually reduce sodium without making food taste like cardboard, or what the research actually says about spearmint tea and PCOS.
Every article on this site answers one question, completely, with the mechanism behind the answer and a single action you can take today.

Our editorial process
Every article on NourishFix goes through a six-step editorial process before it is published. This is not a content checklist. It is the mechanism by which we stand behind what we publish.
Problem identification from real patient queries
Every article begins with a documented patient question or a search query drawn from real audience pain points — not a topic chosen for traffic alone. If the question isn't one that an RD actually hears, it doesn't become an article.
Peer-reviewed literature review
The RDN author searches PubMed, Cochrane, and relevant clinical databases for primary sources. Systematic reviews and RCTs are prioritised. Opinion pieces, brand-funded studies, and sources without DOIs are flagged and excluded or noted explicitly.
Mechanism-first drafting
Articles are structured mechanism-first: the biological or physiological explanation precedes the dietary recommendation. We do not lead with what to eat — we lead with why it works. Coaching language, vague claims, and motivational framing are removed at draft stage.
Citation verification and inline linking
Every factual health claim is matched to a specific cited source before publication. Citations appear as inline hyperlinks in the article body — not only in a reference list — so readers can verify claims without scrolling. Dead links are checked at each review cycle.
Scope and disclaimer review
Each article is reviewed to confirm it stays within the scope of nutrition education — not clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. A disclosure block is added above the first heading stating the author's credentials, the educational purpose of the content, and the date of last review.
Scheduled review cycle
Published articles are reviewed on a 12-month cycle, or sooner if new clinical guidance is issued for that topic. The 'last reviewed' date on every article reflects an active review — not the original publish date. Outdated claims are updated or the article is retired.
Editorial independence
NourishFix does not accept sponsored content, paid product placements, or affiliate arrangements that influence editorial decisions. All articles are written and reviewed solely on the basis of available evidence and clinical relevance.
If you have a medical condition or are currently under the care of a healthcare provider, please consult your doctor or a registered dietitian before making any changes to your diet based on content found on this site.
